Republic Of Indonesia DGCA Production Planning Essentials – 1 Day

Introduction

Whilst the responsibility for delivery of an effective Maintenance Planning process falls on the Operator, the delivery of an effective Production Planning function sits firmly with the Civil Aviation Safety Regulation (CASR) Part 145 Approved Maintenance Organization (AMO).

This course considers the oversight and interface responsibilities of the Operator to ensure effective control of the Maintenance performed by the AMO.

Production Planning duties include the general oversight of the facilities, general work preparation, consideration of environmental conditions, inventory control, contract maintenance coordination, planning of Required Inspections, managing hangar availability, man-hours estimation, and ensuring the availability and control of approved data.

The need for successful reporting at the beginning and throughout an aircraft Maintenance Check should be considered a requirement of the highest order.

The importance of Managing Competencies is considered as well as understanding the Quality Control Process in Production Planning.

Sofema Aviation Services training courses provide a practical understanding of the interpretation of civil aviation regulations to ensure that the certificate holder can comply in the most effective way.
