An effective Aviation Safety Management System (SMS) will provide for an ongoing practical assessment of the status of your SMS. The process will be able to focus on gap analysis, measurement of current status, and practical change management challenges, including the continuous identification and management of hazards.
The two ways to achieve the goal of understanding risk are either by directly taking responsibility for conducting the risk assessments or to receive support from designated risk assessors. At the root of understanding risks, sits the safety performance of the organization.
This intensive 1-day training looks at several different ways that we can identify hazards, perform analysis and develop organizational appropriate mitigations.

How to identify hazards within their own workplace and evaluate these hazards to produce a risk assessment.
