The course was carried out as a webinar by the experienced SAS instructor Shakil Siddiqui on 01-03 June 2023.

What was the training about?

This course aims to provide delegates with a comprehensive understanding of EASA Part 145 regulation. It covers practical examples of Part 145 implementation and offers insights on avoiding potential problems. The training enhances knowledge of airworthiness and maintenance principles, emphasizing the role of Part 145 in EASA-regulated environments. The delegates will consider the role of Contract and Subcontract organisations, as well as the responsibilities and interfaces between Part 145 and Part M Organizations. By understanding the regulations driving the Part 145 process, delegates can make informed business decisions and ensure compliance.

Get to know the instructor

Shakil is an experienced aviation instructor with 35+ years of experience. He is B1.1 Approved Instructor by GCAA, EASA, FAA, CAA PAK, and DGSAS Oman for Basic and Type 147 & AMEL CAT B1.1 CAA PAK. The instructor has extensive experience and knowledge in the following: 66 Basic & Type Training, EASA, GCAA, FAA Regulations, Organisational Procedures and Documentation relevant to the MOs, CAMOs, MTOs, SMS and Quality Systems. Currently, the instructor provides training and services in aircraft maintenance, basic 147, regulatory compliance, quality auditing, airworthiness, and document/procedure development/reviews.
