Sofema Aviation Services (SAS) is pleased to announce the availability of 2 new training courses to support organisations wishing to implement or further develop EASA Part 147 regulatory approval. Both training courses are a single day in duration.

SAS has been delivering EASA compliant regulatory training since 2008 and during 2015 expects to provide training to more than 2500 delegates.

The two new courses are fully compliant with regulation 1321/2014 and the associated requirement to demonstrate compliance with Annex to ED Decision 2012/004/R Appendix III. Also reflecting the changes introduced by Regulation 1149 / 2011

Both courses are fully complementary, but may be enjoyed as a stand alone training. EASA 147 Developing Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for Type Rating Training Courses and Managing Competence within a 147 Organisation both essential elements of a successful organisational approval.

Amongst the subjects covered in the Developing Training Needs Analysis Course are the challenges of developing an effective TNA, EASA Part 147 overview, Typical Roles and responsibilities within an EASA 147 organisation, Regulation 1149 / 2011, EASA 147 Training Needs Analysis (TNA) explained, Managing competence to deliver a TNA, Constructing a TNA taking into account all relevant elements, TNA Quality Control Process & Quality Assurance TNA auditing against an organisational standard

The delegate will take part in an exercise to create a TNA for an ATA for a given aircraft type.

It is a requirement to manage competence within an EASA Part 147 Organisation and to demonstrate compliance with Annex to ED Decision 2012/004/R Appendix III.

The contents of Managing Competence within a 147 Organisation training courses include an understanding of the challenges of managing competence within an EASA Part 147, how to manage the competence of Instructor & Assessor, The Maintenance Trainer’s Learning Path, Developing Coaching Skills and Reviewing EASA Part 147 typical Job descriptions.

In addition the delegate will understand the process to manage the training requirements for Competence Assessors and Managers.
Finally to review a Competence Assessment Checklist and develop a Competency Road Map.
