We are delighted to share that Sofema Online has launched a new course:

Safety Management Systems for EU 1178/2011 & EU 965/2012

About the training:

EASA  requires each organisation to remain fully compliant with all EU regulations. Within our respective organisations (Operator and ATO), we are responsible for the Quality Control and effectiveness of the Safety Management System for the EU. We are typically in receipt of numerous audits, both internal from the Quality Assurance department and external from the Regulatory Authority and Customers. Safety Management looks at risk, and Safety Management Systems should focus extensively on analysing the data derived from the contributing elements of various impacted areas. The Safety Management System training identifies as an essential goal the improvement of Safety Performance. This way, the SMS aims to deliver an improvement in risk exposure. The ability to communicate effectively and to analyze root causes are without doubt essential skills for business area managers. This training aims to identify best practice techniques and behaviours to support the interpretation of audit findings and how these can be understood, analyzed, and mitigated.

Course type: Presentation without voice over
