What was the training about?
This course aims to provide the participants with an awareness of the structure, composition, and impact of the OTAR regulatory obligations. They will understand the environment driving the maintenance management process and the OTAR Part 39 Quality and Safety System in detail. After completing the course, the participants will be knowledgeable of the key components of the OTAR 39 Maintenance Control Manual. They will be able to manage an OTAR Part 39 Continuing Airworthiness Process within their organisation & to achieve full regulatory compliance.

Shakil is an experienced aviation instructor with 35+ years of experience. He is B1.1 Approved Instructor by GCAA, EASA, FAA, CAA PAK, and DGSAS Oman for Basic and Type 147 & AMEL CAT B1.1 CAA PAK. The instructor has extensive experience and knowledge in the following: 66 Basic & Type Training, EASA, GCAA, FAA Regulations, Organisational Procedures and Documentation relevant to the MOs, CAMOs, MTOs, SMS and Quality Systems. Currently, the instructor provides training and services in aircraft maintenance, basic 147, regulatory compliance, quality auditing, airworthiness, and document/procedure development/reviews.
