Maya joined the Sofema team in November 2019. She currently works as Senior Marketing Specialist at SAS & SOL.

“Shortly after I decided to retrain in the marketing sector, I started working at Sofema. I had never been involved in aviation before and Sofema was the place where I developed & enriched my knowledge in the field. The company gave me the opportunity to test things I already knew, but also to cultivate new techniques and methods to better in my work. Every day is different and that motivates me to never stop trying new approaches and implementing new ideas in my workflow. But most of all, it is the place where I met wonderful people which I am grateful to work with.”

- What inspired you to become a Senior Marketing Specialist?
The variety of tasks that I encounter every day inspires me to keep developing my knowledge and skills. Marketing is constantly changing and that motivated me several years ago to choose it as a career. It arouses my curiosity and keeps me on the crest of the wave.
- Can you describe your job in three words?
Inspiring, Creative, Dynamic
- What is the best aspect about being a part of the Sofema Team?
For me, that is definitely our cohesive team and the opportunity to learn from others’ experience and knowledge.
- Which skills have you developed while working at Sofema?
Multitasking and thinking out of the box.
- If you could write a book about your life, what would the title be and why?
“One messy life” – Because my life is full of diversity and unpredictable moments.
- Do you have a hidden talent? What is it?
I am very skilled, I can assemble and repair almost everything.
