Sofema Aviation Services had the pleasure to deliver several training courses in Manama, Bahrain which was delivered by our instructors Danil Danailov & Wajahat Khan at At BAS Facilities – Manama, Bahrain, between September 18th & September 27th 2016.

Over 70 delegates from Texel Air, TAG Aviation, Gulf Air and Bahrain Airport Services (BAS) attended the Training Session, which included the following courses:

Introducing Aviation Maintenance Error Management Systems (MEMS)

This Industry specific 2 Day course is aimed at the understanding and implementation of all the necessary elements to create an effective Maintenance Error Management System.

The training considers the attributes of an effective and open reporting culture and how this may be fostered.
The training will focus on the use of the Boeing MEDA tool as an aid to performing event Investigations.

Logistics & Stores Inspection Procedures EASA Intensive

This in depth 2 days training is designed to provide attendees with:

– A detailed practical understanding of the requirements to Manage and Develop an Aviation Store.
– To provide a regulatory and industry perspective for staff involved in Stores Management and Receipt Inspection.
– Develop the attendees understanding of airworthiness and Receipt

Root Cause Analysis for Quality Assurance and Safety Practitioners

The purpose of this training is to identify best practice techniques and behaviours to support the delivery of effective Root Cause Analysis.

This course is intended to be highly practical and to help the delegate focus on the 5 elements which exist within a finding or issue.
The finding – What is the problem? – Why is it a problem? – What standard has not been met (is it internal or external)? – Why did it happen? – How to consider Root Cause?

Aviation Maintenance Auditing in a Part 145 Environment

This course is aimed at aviation professionals who are seeking to embrace a Maintenance Auditing Role. The course delivers an in depth understanding of the background to compliance management and auditing, auditing techniques and behaviours receive an in depth and practical coverage.

The training will place clear priority on the technique of integrated auditing including system and process auditing together with a root cause understanding of methods to identify systemic failures as opposed to mere compliance type audit findings.

Aviation Auditing in a Part 147 Environment

This course is specifically designed to meet the needs of an Auditor working in a 147 organization, written by an Auditor with more than 25 years practical experience across a range of business areas.

The course is aimed at aviation professionals who are seeking to embrace a EASA Part 147 Auditing Role. The course delivers an in depth understanding of the background to compliance management and auditing, auditing techniques and behaviours receive an in depth and practical coverage.
