“OR.GEN 200” applies to all commercial operators and non-commercial operators of complex motor-powered aircraft. It requires them to have an integrated management system, including an SMS.

Typical responsibilities of the Ground Operations Post Holder will include ensuring the company’s compliance with  EASA regulations and  to ensure that the company is following the required procedures .

The Ground Operations Post Holder is responsible for the ongoing development of  Operations Procedures, and typically plays a major role in the event of  the activation of Emergency Procedures.

In addition typical responsibilities will extend to oversight of the general Safety and Security delivery of Standards and compliance with procedures.

The Ground Operations Post holder is also responsible for the management of Staff Competence and the effectiveness of the Safety Management System in the Ground Operations environment.

This training covers all the responsibilities of the Ground Operations Post Holder – delivered in the context of  Part OPS and includes a full understanding of how it is going to be in respect of Integration of the Management System /  Obligations to Develop compliance Monitoring and Proactive SMS systems.

It is a 1 Day  intensive course starting at 0900 and finishing at 1700  – lunch is provided

The Quality System and the Safety Management System – Compliance Management and Developing Processes  to Measure Risk – changes to the structure what does it mean ?  The organizational role to consider also Performance as well as compliance.

The role of Quality Assurance in Contract Management and Negotiation.

An essential element to preserve Integrity and oversight

Managing Competence – Human Factors (more than compliance)

Human Factors are not mandated for ground handlers – what is the company view ?
