EASA Aviation & Airworthiness Regulations for Managers – 3 Days

Introduction 

This course is focused on the needs of the aviation manager to provide an in-depth appreciation and understanding of the structure and implementation of the EASA regulatory environment. The delegate will cover all foundation subjects including the International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) & Joint Aviation Authorities JAA leading to an understanding of current European Safety Agency (EASA) regulations.

The focus is on Continuing Airworthiness Part M, Part 145, Part 147 & Part 66 but considerations is also given in respect of continuing Airworthiness Part 21 Subpart J Design Organisation Approval (DOA) and Part 21 Subpart G Production Organisation Approval.

Roles and responsibilities are considered in respect of Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and Safety Management Systems in particular the responsibility of the senior managers and “Post holders” – Nominated Persons.
The Delegate will also consider the current threats to the Aviation System and the occurrence of reporting obligation and the relationship with Human Factor behaviors.

Pre-requisites 

A broad range of aviation exposures will typically be found in attendees to this training. The course is highly practical and significant and active participation will be expected.

A background in an aviation environment is an advantage although not essential.
