Introduction –
The origins of the requirement for FTS & EWIS Training go back to a number of incidents with TWA 800 and Swissair 111 having a major impact, several other noticeable events including 3 ground explosions of B737 which have had a catastrophic effect on the industry with instances of in-flight smoke and fire events. The outcomes were conclusive and determined the specific need for EWIS Training. Together with the existing mandated requirement to deliver FTS training.
This course aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the requirement for effective FTS and EWIS Training and provides a thorough grounding in effective techniques to enable your nominated FTS/ EWIS trainer to deliver appropriate FTS and EWIS training within your organization.
The course is highly practical, and promotes best training practices. It also recognizes that while much commonality exists in these two subjects, EWIS training for groups 1 & 2 is very specific and relevant to the company fleet. It is an industry specific two-day program specifically designed for those who need to manage, or deliver FTS and or EWIS Training.
The course is a highly participative and stimulates involvement and provides for powerful motivation. To introduce the delegate to training skills and to provide the confidence which can be developed to deliver effective FTS and EWIS Training within your organizations.
This course is a Train the Trainer course it is not a replacement for either FTS or EWIS training but is intended to prepare the Trainer for training within their own organizations.
