All personnel with duties and/or responsibilities in ensuring effective oversight of the Airline Planning environment and Aircraft Maintenance Program.
Competent Authority (CA) Quality Assurance Staff. Also of Interest to persons working in a CAMO or Part M Quality System. Technical Managers & Lease Companies.

a) At the end of this Training the delegate should have a comprehensive understanding of the Roles and responsibilities associated with the development of the Aircraft Maintenance Program. (AMP)
b) To be able to effectively assess both the regulatory compliance and suitability of operators’ Maintenance Programmes.
c) Achieve a solid understanding related to Part CAMO Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM) and the Continuing Airworthiness Organisation (CAMO) management of the AMP
d) Be able to use the regulation to proactively manage the oversight of regulatory compliance related to the AMP and its control processes
e) Understand the activities which support the analysis of Safety Data including SBs and ADs
f) Understand the impact of the various elements on the AMP with the ability to assess exposure and viability and identify potential weaknesses within the system.

- A brief overview of the AMP content and the regulatory reference
- AMP contents & Initial Aircraft Maintenance Program Assessment Criteria
- Applicable CAME procedures
- EASA Approved Maintenance Program – CAMO Staff Qualification Considerations
- AMP Preamble, Introduction, and Regulatory Statements
- EASA Competent Authority Regulatory Obligations related to Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP) Compliance
- EASA Compliant Aircraft Maintenance Program – Review of Critical Items
Day 2
- Considerations Regarding the Embodiment of Aircraft Maintenance Service Bulletins Structural Integrity, Ageing Aircraft
- Review and approval process involving the CAMO, its staff, and procedures used
- The contract for AMPs where an operator chooses to contract out the AMP production process.
- Exercise to review Appendix I to AMC M.A.302 and AMC M.B.301(b) — Content of the maintenance program
– AMP Review of Potential Issues
– Specific equipment including modifications and Repairs.
– Associated with maintenance related to life-limited components
– Related to Mandatory Continuing Airworthiness Information (ALIs, CMRs, specific requirements in the Type Certificate Data Sheet (TCDS), etc.)
– Associated with maintenance related to AD Compliance & Repetitive ADs
– Associated with maintenance related to specific operational/airspace directives/requirements and operational approvals
- Review of contract key elements for outsourced AMP production process
- The continuing monitoring of AMP effectiveness
- Approval of Amendments
Target Groups
This course is aimed at Competent Authorities, (CA / NAA staff.) EU Operators, EASA Part CAMOs, Quality Managers, CAMs, Airworthiness Review Staff.
Pre-Requisites
A technical aviation background as well as familiarity with EASA Part M Fundamentals, together with a general understanding of Maintenance Planning Activities, Airworthiness Reviews, and Part 21 Certification processes are typically beneficial for attendees.
