The SAS CEO Steve Bentley delivered the course at the Scandinavian Airlines System Facilities, Stockholm, Sweden.
What was the training about?
This course aims to provide the delegates with a basic understanding of Certification Specifications CS-25 related to the Cabin Environment. They will also understand in detail the Certification Process related to the Cabin Environment of Large Turbine Powered Aeroplanes & the Safety Assessment Process Related to CS25-1309. After completing the training, the participants will be able to document and demonstrate compliance & engage in a project-based relationship with DOA & POA to promote constructive dialogue.

Steve Bentley has over 45 years of experience in commercial aviation, including more than 12 years in the airworthiness department of Virgin Atlantic – a major UK international airline. He has in-depth knowledge of the EASA regulatory structure. Steve is also a competent trainer with a huge portfolio of subjects including both aviation operations and maintenance disciplines. The instructor is a trained ISO 9000 lead auditor, as well as IOSA trained. With decades of practical experience, Steve has the ability to support the development of working solutions to many organisational challenges which we face within the operational and maintenance environment.
