Part 21 Subpart J regulatory approval provides for the Design of Aircraft and Components Design Organisation Approval (DOA). The responsibilities associated with the management of a Design Organisation are numerous and varied with a constant flow of challenges. The DOA grants privileges for the organisation to design new products, product modifications, or repairs and may include approval for these designs.

This course provides delegates with an understanding of the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 21 Subpart J including associated topics concerning the changes to Type Design, Supplementary Type Certificates (STC) (modifications), and repairs.
This course is ideal for any person with responsibility for compliance or certification within a design organisation.
The course will be of interest to anyone with a responsibility for the oversight of design organisations including subcontractors.
