Introduction
This is the SMS element only of our newly developed course specifically designed to ensure the delegates cover in sufficient depth, every aspect related to the need to be able to demonstrate compliance with EASA GM2 145.A.30 (e) HF & SMS Training Requirements
This course is intended as a bridging course for delegates who are able to satisfy the regulatory authority that they have completed the Human Factor Elements applicable to EASA Part 145 Staff.
Delegates are able to achieve an in-depth understanding of basic Aviation Safety Concepts, in particular, to ensure adequate focus on the importance of Safety Behaviour integrated into normal working practices.
The course provides an opportunity to ensure an in-depth familiarisation with all Organisational Safety System Elements and to be able to integrate this knowledge into key areas of EASA Part 145 Aviation Objectives.
Who is the Course for?
For anyone who wishes to engage with the aviation maintenance system or who has an organizational obligation to ensure completion of Initial SMS Training in an EASA 145 Environment. The training will also be of benefit to anyone who needs to understand, manage and support the need to fully engage with human-safety interaction within the organization.

Pre-requisites
A background in an aviation environment together with a comprehensive understanding of the theory and practice of SMS processes and procedures.
Learning Objectives
By the end of this course, delegates will be able to explore the role of SMS within the 145 Organisation, understand the subject, and engage with methods to improve organizational safety as well as the organization’s safety culture, procedures, safety policy and methods of communication.
