About the courses:
- SMS Safety Risk Recurrent & Review – 1 Day
This training was designed to provide the delegates with a fundamental understanding of the principles to be found within a regulatory risk and performance-based oversight system. The students will also understand the management of Performance Standards and how they may be developed within their organization and will learn details regarding the do’s and don’ts of Aviation Risk-Based Safety Performance Best Practices. - Introduction to EASA Risk-Based Auditing & Measurement of Effectiveness – 1 Day
This course aims to provide the delegates with an understanding of the various techniques for building a Risk-Based Auditing Program & the principles to be found within a regulatory risk and performance-based oversight system. They will gain knowledge of the roles and responsibilities related both to the Compliance Oversight and Risk-Based Oversight systems & the management of Performance Standards and how they may be developed within their organization. After completing the course the students will learn how to interpret findings in the context of Risk & what are the do’s and don’ts of Aviation Risk-Based Performance Audit Best Practices. Steve Bentley has over 45 years of experience in commercial aviation, including more than 12 years in the airworthiness department of Virgin Atlantic – a major UK international airline. He has in-depth knowledge of the EASA regulatory structure. Steve is also a competent trainer with a huge portfolio of subjects including both aviation operations and maintenance disciplines. The instructor is a trained ISO 9000 lead auditor, as well as IOSA trained. With decades of practical experience, Steve has the ability to support the development of working solutions to many organisational challenges which we face within the operational and maintenance environment.
