Sofema Aviation Services (SAS) www.sassofia.com is pleased to share that the EASA Airports Aviation Compliance Management and Auditing training was completed by delegates from Fraport Slovenija.

The course was carried out by our knowledgeable instructor Danil Danailov at the SAS training academy in Sofia, Bulgaria.

About the training

This course aims to provide an understanding of the EASA Aerodrome Regulatory Frameworks. The participants will gain knowledge of the airport certification requirements and the specifications & guidance material for aerodrome design. They will also learn how to create and manage an effective airport compliance system that aligns with the EASA regulatory requirements. During the course, the participants will understand the competencies required for auditors and will develop the skills to conduct quality audits, including practical application through workshops. They will learn about the corrective actions and root cause analysis process. They will also understand the link between aerodrome accidents and incidents to safety and human factors and develop strategies to mitigate risks.

Danil has over 45 years of working experience in the aviation industry. He has worked as an Aviation Instructor, Quality manager, Quality Assurance Inspector, Quality Control & Quality assurance Manager, Director of Maintenance & Engineering and Russian Jet Type Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (Avionics & Electrical). The instructor is skilled in the following: Quality/Compliance management, SMS system management, Flight OPS auditing, Maintenance activities & quality auditing, and much more.
