Sofema Aviation Services (SAS) is delighted to share that the (EC) Regulation 965/2012 (Large A/C – Air Carrier) course was delivered to 15 delegates from AirExplore.

The experienced SAS instructor, Davit Mazmishvili, delivered the training at the AirExplore’s Facilities.

About the course

During the course, the participants will learn about various aspects of (EC) Regulation 965/2012 that are relevant to their roles and responsibilities within an air carrier. They will gain a detailed understanding of EASA Part OPS Structure and Environment with emphasis on Compliance Monitoring and Acceptable Means of Compliance & Guidance Material (GM) procedures. Davit has 32+ years of experience in the aviation and occupational safety industries, with over 20 years in leadership roles. He possesses extensive technical knowledge in supply, logistical support, and organizational management. An experienced aircraft commander and trainer, Davit is a results-oriented senior manager who has supervised multicultural operations in Africa and Afghanistan. He excels in managing simultaneous high-stakes tasks and leading operations to success. His expertise includes launching startups and operations in challenging environments, serving as a Safety Management Expert, Emergency Response planner, and Aviation Security Management System operator. Davit has developed Flight Operations Quality Assurance and OHS programs for various organizations, implementing ISO standards. Known for integrity, he has a solid track record in general management and consultancy, with top skills in lecturing, training, and staff development. He has successfully promoted safety programs and developed transformative organizational strategies. Davit is effective in networking with commercial and non-governmental organizations, promoting a high-performance culture through positive values and behaviours.
