This course is aimed at Quality Management & Assurance Staff, Airworthiness Review Staff, CAMs, CAMO Staff as well as Licenced Aircraft Engineers and Competent Authority Staff. See course details
Introduction
The 1-day Airworthiness Review Training course is focused on providing delegates with an understanding of Part M Subpart I implementation and how to avoid potential problems. It contains numerous examples, which will give a practical perspective of how to apply the knowledge that they gain in the workplace.
The Course is Complementary to the following courses all of which are recommended as suitable preparation for this course:
- Part CAMO,
- SMS for Part CAMO,
- Part M 2020,
- Assessing the Effectiveness of an EASA Compliant Aircraft Maintenance Program (AMP),
- Part 21Review for CAMO Staff.
Delegates attending SAS Part M Subpart I Training will:
- Achieve a solid understanding related to Subpart G Continued Airworthiness Management (CAM) and Subpart I Airworthiness Review Certificates (ARC).
- Appreciate the difference between Full ARC’s and Reviews and understand the methodology to perform effective ARC’s.
- Be able to use the regulation to proactively manage the Continuing Airworthiness (CA) of your aircraft.
- Understand the activities which support the analysis of Safety Data including SB’s and AD’s.
- Understand the purpose of STC’s and how they are integrated into the maintenance Program.
- Understand the concept of Back to Birth oversight.
