The experienced SAS instructor Dejan Dencic carried out the courses as classroom training sessions at the RAS Facilities in Bucharest, Romania in November.

About the courses: 

The EWIS for Groups 1 & 2 training was delivered on 21-22 November 2022 

This course aims to provide the delegates with an understanding of the structure, composition and impact of EWIS Regulatory Requirements. They will learn how to use instructional tools and techniques to enhance instruction effectively. They will also understand the techniques to optimize and deliver practical presentations & will be able to focus on the development of their communication skills. The Fuel Tank Safety training was delivered on 23 November 2022

The course is designed to provide an understanding of Fuel Tank Safety (FTS) related issues and a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory requirement for achieving effective FTS compliance. In addition, it provides a comprehensive understanding of the regulatory requirement for effective FTS compliance. Covering the wide range of topics required by the amendments, from the investigation of historical events driving the legislation, to its practical applications ensuring the continued airworthiness of affected aircraft, the course aims to succinctly & clearly communicate a complex and dynamic subject. The Aviation and Maintenance Human Factors (Initial) training was delivered on 24-25.11.2022

This training will provide the delegates with an in-depth understanding of basic Aviation Human Factors concepts. They will be able to demonstrate compliance with EASA Part 145 A.30 Human Factor Training Requirements & will integrate their Human Factor knowledge into key areas of aviation maintenance. They will also understand the key human performance issues relevant to Maintenance Operations. After completing the course, the participants will achieve a strong Understanding of Human Factor Principles & will be able to consider human performance limitations as well as the potential impact on the daily routine. About the Instructor 

Dejan Dencic is a graduate of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Belgrade, Serbia with a degree in Mechanical Aerospace Engineering. He has over 20 years of experience in the aviation industry, including aircraft maintenance, planning, and engineering. The instructor has a type rating for B737, ATR-72, and Airbus 320 family aircraft. Moreover, he has very good knowledge of aircraft documentation (AMM, IPC, MPD, AMS, AD, etc.). Dejan has been announced as SAS Instructor of the Year. See details here
