About the training:
This course satisfies the recurrent training obligations related to safety management systems (SMS) within a CAMO environment with due consideration for human factors. In order to manage Human Factors (HF) effectively within the organisation, we need to address risks and exposures. All threats need to be understood and mitigation put into place to address them. With SMS, we have a set of regulations that allow the industry to establish best practices that fit different cultures and place the main emphasis and duty on improving safety performance. This requires a real team effort, as regulators and airlines are all part of one extensive system. Working as a team will improve the safety record and allow organisations to conduct more of their own oversight and assurance.
